Usage:
3606, 3608, 3612, 3616 Engines
Description of Change: Improved gaskets and covers are used in the cover groups, water lines group and connection group. The improved gaskets can be identified by the pink-tan color. And the gaskets do not have a "bead" on the face. The flatness of the covers have been improved. New clips are used in the water lines group. The clips improve the clamping forces on the gasket under the aftercooler water lines.
Adaptable To: The improved 9Y7082 Gasket (1) and 7W0805 Cover (2) are used in the 1W0884 and 1W0906 Central Structure Cover Groups. Also, the improved 9Y7082 Gasket (1) is used in the 1W0882, 1W0916, 4W0369 and 7W4986 Water Lines Groups on 3612 and 3616 Engines.
NOTE: If leaks reoccur around the former 7W0805 Cover, an improved cover should be installed.

The improved 9Y7084 Gasket (3) and 1W0129 Right Hand Upper Cover (4) are used in the 1W0135 and 1W0836 Central Structure Cover Group. Also, the improved gasket (3) is used in the 7C9402 Water Connection Group on 3606 and 3608 Engines.
The improved 9Y7083 Gasket (5) and 2W8313 Cover (6) are used in the 1W0135 and 1W0836 Central Structure Cover Group on 3606 and 3608 Engines.

The new 9X2646 Clips (7) and 9X2647 Clips (8) are used in the 1W0811, 1W0847, 4W0373 and 7W3783 Water Lines Group.
