Subscription Service Available For ECAP And DDT Service Program Modules{0782,1705}

Usage:

3176 and 3406B (PEEC) Truck Engines

Whenever improvements are made to the electronic engine controls on 3176 or 3406B (PEEC) Truck Engines, new SPMs (Service Program Modules) are required for the ECAP (Electronic Control Analyzer Programmer) and for the DDT (Digital Diagnostic Tool) used to service these engines. A subscription service is now available to automatically provide you these updates on a timely basis.

Cost of each subscription is $95 (U.S.) per year for each form number needed. No matter how many updates of the SPM are issued per year, the subscription fee will be the total cost for the year. The subscriptions are as follows.

Dealers who received the free update for their ECAP or DDT are not signed up for the subscription service unless they place a literature order for the corresponding form number.

Individual SPMs can still be ordered by part number when a new ECAP or DDT is purchased or if a replacement SPM is required. Order these by using the DTS (Dealer Terminal System) screen and enter as Class 3 orders. No emergency service charges apply. Dealers who have purchased SPMs after June 1, 1989 and return the registration form are automatically signed up for the corresponding subscription at no additional cost.
