Silicone Sealant Is Now Used To Keep Water Out Of The Steering Clutch Case{4059,4100,4106,4115}

Description of Change: A different sealant is now used to keep water out of the steering clutch case on D3 Tractors and 931 Loaders.

R.T.V. (Silicone) 3S6252 Sealant is now used on the 6S3273 Covers which are installed on top of the steering clutch case. Formerly, a liquid gasket material was used as a seal between the 6S3273 Covers and the steering clutch case.

The 3S6252 Sealant is also used between the 6S9249 Housing Assembly and the steering clutch case. (The 6S9249 Housing Assembly is the point where the brake linkage enters the steering clutch case.) Formerly a 6S4061 Gasket and liquid gasket material were used at this location.

Adaptable To: All D3 Tractors and 931 Loaders.
