Usage:
All Caterpillar Machines
Certain new machines are shipped from the factory with the alternator positive battery lead disconnected and taped back to the wiring harness. This is done to prevent possible damage to the alternator from incorrect jump starting procedures during transit to the dealer. The positive lead will need to be connected before the alternator will charge the batteries.
