All 3400 Series Engines
Description of Change: New cylinder block groups are used on all 3400 Series Engines. These new cylinder blocks have a top deck that is approximately 5 mm (.2") thicker. This thicker top deck helps prevent movement of the cylinder liner in the cylinder block. This movement can cause damage (erosion) to the cylinder block in the area below the cylinder liner flange.
Adaptable As: The new block groups are direct replacements for the former block groups as shown in the chart.
