Description of Change: A new water pump group is now used on all 3406 Engines. The new water pump group has a new plastic impeller. This new impeller is lighter in weight, which will decrease the amount of force put on the water pump seal. This will improve the service life of the water pump seal.
Adaptable As: The new 1N2959 Water Pump Group is a direct replacement for the former 2W3277 Water Pump Group. Only the impellers in these two groups have changed. The new 5N7438 Impeller is a direct replacement for the former 2W3276 Impeller.
