It is possible to cause damage to the 4V7061 and 4V7062 Carrier Lining Assemblies before or during installation. Shock loads can cause a separation of the friction material from the steel carrier. Do not permit the lining assembly to fall or strike (hit) any surface. Before installation, visually inspect each carrier lining assembly for large cracks or broken lining material.
