Usage:

3192, 7211, 7221, 7231, 7241, 7251, 7261 Marine Transmissions

Description of Change: Oil pump drive sleeves for the above models are now available separately for parts service. These sleeves are part of the main ahead shaft assembly for 7211 and 7221 Marine Transmissions, or the oil pump drive shaft assembly for the other models. When a drive sleeve becomes worn or damaged, and the remainder of the shaft assembly is still in good condition, a new sleeve can now be installed. Formerly, it was necessary to install a complete new shaft assembly.

Adaptable As: Direct replacement when the necessary parts are used together, as shown in the parts chart. A Special Instruction, Form SMHS7721, is available with complete information for installation of the sleeves. One hole must be drilled and reamed to install the retainer dowel.
