Changes To Oil Level Gauge Group Improve Accuracy Of Oil Level Indications, Increase Oil Capacity Of 245 Excavators And Front Shovels{1300}

Usage:

245 Excavators;
245 Front Shovels;
772B Tractors;
773B Trucks;
824C Tractors;
825C, 826C Compactors;
980C Loaders;
3406 Industrial And Marine Engines Equipped With 4N9951 Oil Level Gauge Group (LH)

Description of Change: A new guide assembly is used in oil level gauge groups for all the above models, and a new oil level gauge assembly is used for 245 Excavators and 245 Front Shovels. The new guide assembly has the vent hole moved to a higher location in the tube than the hole in the former guide assembly. This will keep oil out of the vent hole, and give better accuracy in oil level indications. The new oil level gauge used on 245 Excavators and 245 Front Shovels increase the engine oil capacity from 34.06 to 35.95 liters (36 to 38 qt). This adjusts the capacity in compensation for the 1.89 liters (2 qt) of oil in the oil cooler.

Adaptable As: Direct replacement.
