New 1N3270 Auxiliary Drive Group Available As Attachment{1165}

Usage:

3408 And 3412 Marine Engines Equipped With A Front Power Take-Off

A new 1N3270 Auxiliary Drive Group is available as an attachment for 3408 and 3412 Marine Engines equipped with a front power take-off. The new 1N3270 Auxiliary Drive Group has a larger 180.98 mm (7.125") diameter pulley than the existing 7N8750 Auxiliary Drive Group which has a 152.4 mm (6") diameter pulley.

The new auxiliary drive group turns the alternator at a higher RPM than the existing drive group. This permits the alternator to put out more current when the engine is at idle.

The new 1N3270 Auxiliary Drive Group is adaptable to all 3408 and 3412 Marine Engines equipped with a front power take-off. If desired, conversion from an existing 7N8750 Auxiliary Drive Group to a 1N3270 Auxiliary Drive Group is possible if the 7N8751 Pulley is removed and a 1N3231 Pulley installed.

The 7N8750 Auxiliary Drive Group is still available.
