New Fuel Injection Lines And Clamps Prevent Stresses And Contact Which Can Cause Leakage{1252}

Usage:

D330C, 3304, D333C, 3306 Industrial Engines;
1673C, 3306 Truck Engines;
3304, 3306 Vehicular Engines

Description of Change: New fuel injection line assemblies are used for the No. 3 cylinder on all the above engines, and for the No. 5 and No. 6 cylinders on some D333C and 3306 Industrial Engines. The new lines have a different design to prevent possible contact with other lines. Also, two-line clamps are used in place of the former three-line clamps. The new clamp screws cannot be tightened too tightly. The clamps which hold only two lines per clamp will not work loose as easily as the former three-line clamps. The new screws will prevent distortion of the lines which was possible when the former bolts were tightened too tightly. These improvements will prevent fuel leakage through cracks caused by line distortion or wear caused by vibration when two lines are in contact with each other.

Adaptable As: Direct replacement.
