Usage:
NOTE: Check the condition of all O-ring seals and of all parts. If any components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
1. Install the O-ring seal in manifold (33). Put manifold (33) in position on the main control valve, as shown. Install the four bolts and the washers that hold manifold (33) to the main control valve.
2. Repeat Step 1 for manifold (34).
3. Pass two suitable lifting slings through the front frame to attach to the main control valve. Attach the upper ends of the lifting slings to a hoist.
4. Position the main control valve directly under the front frame. Install Tooling (A) to each end of main control valve (1), as shown. Attach Tooling (A) to each sling with a suitable 'D' shackle.
5. Carefully lift the main control valve into position in the front frame, as shown. The weight of the main control valve is 62 kg (136 lb).
6. Install three bolts (32) and the washers that hold the main control valve to the front frame. Tighten three bolts (32) as follows:
a. Tighten bolts (32) to a torque of 40 ± 7 N·m (30 ± 5 lb ft).
b. Tighten bolts (32) again to a torque of 105 ± 20 N·m (75 ± 15 lb ft).
7. Put cover (31) in position on the front frame. Install the two bolts and the washers that hold the cover to the front frame.
8. Connect hose assembly (30) to the main control valve.
9. Put cover (29) in position on the front frame. Install the three bolts and the washers that hold the cover to the front frame.
10. Connect hose assembly (28) to the main control valve.
11. Put manifold assembly (11) in position on the main control valve, as shown. Support the manifold assembly with two bolts. Connect hose assembly (27) to manifold assembly (11).
12. Put manifold (24) in position on the main control valve. Support manifold (24) and connect hose assembly (25).
13. Put manifold (23) in position on the main control valve. Support manifold (23) and connect hose assembly (26).
14. Connect hose assemblies (17), (18), (19), (20), (21) and (22) to the main control valve.
15. Connect hose assemblies (14), (15) and (16) to the main control valve.
16. Put hose assembly (10) in position in the front and rear frames. Connect hose assembly (10) to hydraulic tank (13).
17. Put hose assembly (10) and clamp (12) in position, as shown. Install the two bolts and the washers that hold clamp (12) to the front frame.
18. Connect hose assembly (10) to manifold (11).
19. Connect hose assembly (9) to the main control valve.
20. Connect hose assembly (8) to the main control valve.
21. Connect hose assembly (7) to the main control valve.
22. Connect hose assembly (6) to the float sequence valve.
23. Connect hose assemblies (2), (3), (4) and (5) to main control valve (1).
24. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced.
End By:
a. Install the ride control diverter valve (if equipped). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Diverter Valve (Ride Control) - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
b. Install the front drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, Power Train, "Drive Shaft (Front) - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
c. Remove the bucket control group safety pins. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bucket Control Group Safety Pins - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
d. Remove the steering frame lock pin. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock Pin - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
