Usage:
NOTE: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
NOTE: Check the condition of all O-ring seals and of all parts. If any components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
NOTE: Lubricate all parts with clean hydraulic oil during assembly.
1. Install stem (9) in the valve body. Be sure the stem is positioned, as shown. Install spring (10) in the valve body.
2. Install O-ring seal (15) on adapter (12).
NOTE: Use the correct amount of spacers (10) to obtain an assembled load of 200 ± 10 N (45 ± 2 lb).
3. Install the required amount of spacers (11) and adapter (12) in the valve body.
4. Install O-ring seal (14) on adapter (13). Install adapter (13) in the valve body.
5. Assemble the two check valve assemblies as follows:
a. Install O-ring seal (8) on fitting (5).
b. Install valve (7), spring (4) and fitting (5) in body (6).
6. Install the O-ring seals on check valve assemblies (2) and (3) and all fittings. Install the check valve assemblies and the fittings in their original locations in the valve body, as shown.
End By:
a. Install the selector and pressure control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Selector and Pressure Control Valve - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
