Control Panel

Usage:

Remove & Install Control Panel

1. Put the battery switch in the "OFF" position. Disconnect the batteries.

2. Remove end panel (1) and panel (2) from generator enclosure (3).

3. Remove two bolts and washers (4). Remove retainer plate (5).

4. Open cover (7) on the front of control panel (6).

5. Lower hinged instrument panel (8).

6. Mark for identification all wires (9) at terminal strips (10).

NOTE: Wires (9) are routed through two flexible conduits (11).

7. Open panel door (12) on the back of control panel (6).

8. Remove lock nuts (13) from two flexible conduits (11). Working from both top and bottom of control panel (6), carefully remove the flexible conduits and previously disconnected wires from the bottom of the control panel.

9. Mark for identification and disconnect three electrical connectors (14) from inside generator enclosure (3) and under control panel (6).

10. Remove six bolts (15) in the top of generator enclosure (3).

11. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to control panel (6). Remove control panel (6) from the top of generator enclosure (3). The weight of the control panel is approximately 43 kg (95 lb).

NOTE: For installation of the control panel, reverse the removal steps.

12. Connect the batteries. Put the battery switch in the "ON" position.
