Control Valve

Usage:

Control Valve Disassembly

1. Remove the three retaining bolts and top cover (10).


NOTICE

Use care when removing valves from the valve body. Scratched or nicked valves can cause improper operation of the control valve.


2. Remove load piston (3), springs (4), stop (12), check valve (11), spring (14) from the top of valve body (8).


CONTROL VALVE DISASSEMBLED
1. Selector lever. 2. Detent assembly. 3. Load piston. 4. Pressure regulating springs. 5. Spacers. 6. Relief valve. 7. Damping valve. 8. Valve body. 9. Bottom cover. 10. Top cover. 11. Check valve. 12. Stop. 13. Directional valve. 14. Check valve spring. 15. Bushing and seal.

3. Remove the three retaining bolts and bottom cover (9).

4. Remove directional valve (13), relief valve (6) and spacers (5) from the bottom of valve body (8).

Control Valve Assembly

1. Install directional valve (13) in valve body (8) from bottom cover (9) end.

2. Install spacers (5) in relief valve (6), placing thicker spacers toward springs (4). Install the relief valve in body (8) from the bottom and install bottom cover (9).

3. Install springs (4), load piston (3), spring (14), check valve (11) and stop (12) into valve body (8).

4. Insert selector lever (1) into the hole in the stem of directional valve (3). Make certain that detent assembly (12) is in top cover assembly (10) and install the top cover.
