This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI10935" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code.
Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI10935" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The jacket water couplings need to be replaced on certain 3512C Marine Engines equipped with a plate type heat exchanger. The existing coupling can allow the tubes to seperate resulting in a loss of engine coolant.

Rework Procedure

1. Drain jacket water coolant into suitable container.
2. Remove the 7L-3201 Couplings (1) (Image 1.1.1) and tubes (2) from only the jacket water side of the 375-4143 Heat Exchanger.
3. Install 2 of each 423-2808 Coupling (1)(Image 1.1.2) onto tubes (2), and reinstall onto the engine with new 110-7753 O-rings (3), evenly tightening the coupling bolts to a final torque of 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
4. Refill the jacket water system and test for leaks.
Note: Refer to Image 1.1.3 for location numbers.
