When reporting the repair, use "PS43876" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing thermostat housing bracket can crack or fail on certain 3516C Marine Engines. If the existing bracket fails it can cause damage to the thermostat housing. |

ACTION REQUIRED
Disassembly 1) Remove bolts (B) from thermostat housing bracket (C). 2) Remove bolts (A) from thermostat housing bracket (C). Assembly 1) Connect bracket (C) to thermostat housing (D) using bolts (A) with respective hardware, and hand tighten. 2) Connect bracket (C) to mount (E) using bolts (B) with respective hardware, and hand tighten. 3) Tighten the bracket bolts to 47 +/- 9 Nm. |
