This Program must be administered either before or after failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS43302" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The existing relays can prematurely fail on certain CAT Swithgear due to mechanical contacts being out of factory tolerance. If the existing relays fail it can cause nuisance alarms and annunciations.

Replace all relays upon failure or replace all relays during normal scheduled maintenance.

CAT/ISO will provide the replacement relays.

This program involves CAT Switchgear that have the 24 VDC Eaton 2 and 4 pole "ice cube" relays.

The Eaton 24VDC relay D7PF2AT1 will be replaced with the IDEC DC24V relay RH2B-UL.

The Eaton 24VDC relay D7PF4AT1 will be replaced with the IDEC DC24V relay RH4B-UL.

Both the IDEC and Eaton relay bases are compatible with each other and will not require replacement when the relays are replaced.
