Introduction

The Service Information Division is now creating service animations to supplement certain service manual procedures. Typical procedure types that contain content suitable for service animations include Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting and Special Instructions. Typical animations range in length from 4-7 minutes. Completed service animations can be found on the Service Information Channel1 page.

General Information

There are many service procedures where traditional service information is not adequate to communicate the complexity for performing service repair procedures efficiently and safely. With the use of videos and animations, virtual references for service information can be provided to convey more clarity and precision for specific procedures than traditional publications with words and illustrations.
