New software is now available for all Cat^® Object Detection and Vision applications on certain Cat^® products. The changes and improvements of the new software are listed below:

Included 1.6.1 OS update.
Updated Spanish language support.
Added support for multiple models including 798 AC models.
Added C4 radar support 365-1271 Object Detection Sensor Gp support for 988K/834K machines.
Improved 2348-09 diagnostic handling for 988K models.

The new software part numbers are listed in Table 1.

Note: This software is intended to be installed on 459-2220 Monitor Display Gp only, but can be installed on older displays if they were factory fitted such as the 373-2281 Display Module Gp and 441-5131 Display Module Gp.

Note: If loading this software over an older file, the display application erase file 502-4019 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp must be used. Failure to do so can result in the application failing to update after the operating system has loaded.

Note: The new software is available in the form of a flash file through the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS). Go to SIS web to make sure that the new flash file part number is still the latest flash file part number. A newer flash file part number may be available. SIS only displays the latest available flash file.
