Description Of Change: The new wear sleeve seals are hardened to prevent excessive wear. Also, sealant is used with the sleeves for the alternator and auxiliary drive pulleys. The Loctite^® 648 (retaining compound) or Loctite^® 120541 (core plug sealant) prevents oil leaks between the pulley and the wear sleeve. Prior to installing the sleeve to the pulley, apply the sealant to the inner side of the sleeve. Ensure that no excess sealant is allowed on the running surface of the sleeve.

The new 547-2367 Wear Sleeve Seal replaces the former 280-3313 Sleeve.
