These hydraulic hose suppression sleeves have been released to meet the requirements of MDG41 in Australia. The intended use of these hoses is to prevent fluid injection injuries by retaining pin-hole or burst hose type events.
Hydraulic hose suppression sleeves have the following advantages:
- Now equipped with heavy-duty dual-ply nylon instead of single ply nylon sheathing
- Does not sacrifice minimum bend performance.
- Provides protection against chemicals and weather
- Compatible with Cat XTTM Reusable Couplings.
- Uses existing clips and grommets.
- The sleeving had been tested with 350,000 cycles.
Note: Consideration of outer-diameter of coupling for sleeve sizing selection. Refer to Table 1 and Table 2.
The standard, single ply material is excellent for abrasion resistance and will dissipate a fluid stream as required by ISO 3457 (hoses within one meter of an operator must be guarded in such a way to stop, divert or disperse the fluid stream from direct contact with the operator).
