Inlet Air Is Restricted
Use this procedure to troubleshoot a high differential pressure for the air inlet system. Also, use this procedure if one of the following event codes is active or logged.

1. Check for Damaged or Plugged Air Filter Elements |
Air Filter Element |
Result: The air filter element is not plugged and the piping is not restricted. Proceed to Test Step 2. Result: The air filter element is plugged or the piping is restricted. Repair: Clean or replace the air filter element. If the problem is not resolved, proceed to Test Step 2. |
2. Inspect the Enclosure A. Check that the engine has been installed in an enclosure that is sufficiently ventilated. |

Result: The engine enclosure is not sufficiently ventilated. Repair: Repair the ventilation for the enclosure. Verify that the repair eliminated the problem. |
