Some of the components that are connected to the Transmission ECM can be calibrated by using the Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat® ET).
Calibrations should be performed on a surface that is smooth and level.
- Press the Service button (1) located on the right side of the display.

(4) Down Button - When the Service menu appears, navigate by pressing the "Up" (2) and "Down" (3) buttons located on the right side of the display. Select an item by pressing the "OK" button (4).
Select “Calibrations” on the screen and press the "OK" button (4).

The operator monitor will list initial machine conditions that must be satisfied before the ECM will allow the calibration procedure to continue. Follow the specific instructions on the display to complete the calibration procedure.
Note: The “CALIBRATION REQUIRED” diagnostic will be active and the ECM will revert to the previous successful calibrated values if a calibration is aborted at anytime. To clear the diagnostic, cycle the key.
