Check both sides of 123-8159 Baffle As for cracking in the locations shown in Illustration 2.

Solution

Caterpillar is aware of the problem, but an interim repair has not been defined. Replace with same part, and refer to the instructions below.

• Submit a Dealer Solution Network (DSN) ticket quoting CPI number 377310

• Request that the Tier 1 representative, transfer your ticket to an available Tier 2 representative for Caterpillar Underground Mining - Base Machine

• The Tier 2 representative will request the machine serial number, machine operating hours
