Note: Note: All Cat Production Measurement features are available in both the permanent installation and the temporary 250-hour demo mode.
Can be installed or uninstalled with Cat Electronic Technician (Cat ET) or through the display. Installation with ET does not require a factory password. Installation through the display requires service mode to be enabled.
The demo mode allows the use of Cat Production Measurement without needing to purchase the activation password for 250 hours. After the timer expires, the use of Cat Production Measurement is only available after enabling the permanent installation.
Note: Once the 250-hour mark has been reached, Cat Production Measurement will continue to function until the next key cycle.
Permanent installation requires a Cat ET factory password to enable the software enabled attachment. A configurable parameter is found in the Implement ECM configuration.
Cat Production Measurement Feature Enable Status must be enabled after the installation in the Implement ECM configuration, as well. Enabling through the display requires service mode to be enabled.
