A New Exhaust Manifold Band Clamp Is Used on Certain 3500 Locomotive and Marine Engines {1059}

Locomotive Engine: 3512C (S/N: NJT1-UP; F2X1-UP)
Marine Auxillary Engine: 3512C (S/N: SLM1-UP); 3516C (S/N: JTS1-UP)
Marine Engine: 3512C (S/N: TTG1-UP); 3516C (S/N: TTH1-UP; TTJ1-UP)

Description Of Change: The new exhaust manifold band clamp utilizes a locknut.

Adaptable To: The new 478-4159 Band Clamp replaces the existing 384-0519 Band Clamp. The band clamp is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.

This change is effective on the serial numbers listed in Table 1.
