Summary Report

The following requirements must be satisfied before the summary report can be generated:

  • Minimum of one second of production time

  • One bucket cycle

  • One truck stored

The following are unit conversion factors:

  • 1.1023 English tons per Metric ton

  • 1.306 cubic yards per cubic meter

  • 1.185 (Metric tons per cubic meter) equals 1 (English ton per cubic yard)

Loader Payload Summary

This section of the Summary Report covers the statistics for the buckets stored in the range of the report. The statistics will help in determining total machine productivity and are used for generating other statistics in the report.

Number of Buckets - Total bucket count used to calculate the Material Moved field.

Payload Weights - The bucket payload is separated into four sections: minimum, average, maximum, and total.

  • Minimum Payload: The lightest bucket weighed and stored in the report data range.

  • Average Payload: The average bucket weighed and stored in the report data range.

  • Maximum Payload: The heaviest bucket weighed and stored in the report data range.

  • Total Payload: The total bucket weight stored in the report data range.

Cycle Times - Cycles are measured from the dump of one cycle to the dump of the next cycle. The cycle times are displayed in the format Hours: Minutes: Seconds.

Minimum Cycle Time - Shortest cycle time for a bucket cycle in the Report Data Range.

Average Cycle Time - Average cycle time for a bucket cycle in the Report Data Range.

Maximum Cycle Time - Longest cycle time for a bucket cycle in the Report Data Range.

Truck Times - The time taken to load a truck. This time is calculated based on the time between the first cycle of the truck, and the store button press. The time is displayed to the user in the format Hours: Minutes: Seconds. The different Truck Times displayed are:

  • Minimum Truck Time: Shortest time a truck was loaded in the Report Data Range.

  • Average Truck Time: Average time a truck was loaded in the Report Data Range.

  • Maximum Truck Time: Longest time a truck was loaded in the Report Data Range.

Passes Per Truck - Average number of loader buckets per truck in the Trucks Loaded field. This value is equal to the number of Loader Buckets divided by the number of trucks that were loaded. This field assumes that a consistent truck size is loaded throughout the selected time range.

Trucks Loaded - Total number of trucks that are counted in the selected time range. Trucks are recorded by pressing the onboard payload "STORE" button.

Loader Payload Utilization

The Loader Payload Utilization covers the total machine running time, the report range, and the total machine productive time.

Total Time - Duration of time in the selected time range. The following occurs when a truck record spans a selected time or shift and a non-selected time or shift:

  • Only bucket cycles occurring in the selected time range or selected shift are use

  • The truck is counter

This total time will equal the sum of the following data:

  • Production time

  • Labeled delay time

  • AUTO delay time

Production Time - The total time that is accounted for as production. Segmentation of the Production Time is not currently supported for Medium Wheel Loader applications.

Labeled Delay Time - This feature is not currently supported for Medium Wheel Loaders.

Auto Delay Time - This feature is not currently supported for Medium Wheel Loaders.

Loader Payload Fuel Usage

This section covers the fuel statistics calculated by the ECM during the production time of the machine. All fuel burned since the last cycle was time stamped, excluding fuel used while in standby, will be used for calculations.

  • Fuel Used/Hour – The average fuel used per hour of production operation time.

  • Fuel Used/Ton – The average fuel used per Ton/tonne of material moved.

  • Fuel Used/Cycle – The average fuel used per machine cycle.

  • Total Fuel Used – The total fuel used during the production operation time.

  • Fuel Used/Pass – The average fuel used per pass.

  • Tons/Fuel Used – The average Ton/tonne of material moved for 1 Gal/Lit of fuel.

Loader Payload Production

This section covers how productive a machine is by using:

  • Total weight of material moved

  • Number of trucks loaded

Detail Analysis

The Detail Analysis report displays the payload loaded per truck for the date and time range selected. This data is only accurate if:

  • The operator is correctly using the store button after loading a truck to recognize the truck has been loaded

  • The operator is not storing pile clean-up passes

The report consists of:

Time/Date - Date and time the truck was started and stored based on the VIMSTM ECM time. This time may differ from the actual time if the clock is not synchronized using Cat ET.

Payload of the Cycle - Weight associated with a given cycle record that was extracted from a truck record.

Fuel Used -Fuel used during the loading of a truck. Fuel used not supported for MWL application.

SMH - Service Meter Hours of the machine when the truck is stored to memory.

Truck ID - Currently selected Truck ID when the truck is stored to memory.

Material ID - Currently selected Material ID when the truck is stored to memory.

Location - Text string that is associated with the "Load Site ID" . Each recorded cycle or status is associated with a certain cycle or status. "UNKNOWN" is the default text. Location is not currently supported for Medium Wheel Loader applications.

Number of Buckets - The total number of buckets loaded into the truck stored.

GPS Graph

Illustration 4g03736999

The GPS Graph report allows the user to create a graph of the locations all buckets were loaded. If multiple buckets were loaded in the same location, one indicator will represent all buckets for that location. By default the graph will have no background image associated, until an image has been uploaded through the settings menu. After an image has been uploaded, the graph will display the buckets loaded over the map.

The GPS graph is a scatter plot of all data. Each data point will be a spot on the scatter plot. When there is no GPS data, all GPS values will be zero and the graph will show "No GPS Data Available". Not supported on MWL.
