Instructions for Preventing Utilization Messages Being Reported with Duplicate Time Stamps from PL321VSR Satellite Devices {7601}

Usage:

Caterpillar Products:
  • All Machines
  • Instructions for preventing utilization messages being reported with duplicate time stamps from PL321VSR satellite devices are now available. Perform the following instructions:

    Change the report start time in VisionLink to occur closer to end of the day shift. Default report start time of VisionLink is between 2AM and 4AM. By reporting when the machine is still powered ON or just after the machine has been shut down for the day, minimizes the opportunity for clock drift to occur.

    Note: It is recommended not to set the report start time to occur in the middle of a day operation. This will cause the amount of work/production information that occurred after the report time to be added to the next day information. For example, if a machine works from 7AM to 5PM on Friday and the report start time occurs at 1PM, then the productivity information that was recorded from 1PM to 5PM on Friday will show in VisionLink as occurring on Saturday.
