Removal Procedure

1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal at the battery.

3. Remove bolts (2), bolts (1), and guard (3).

4. Loosen allen head screws (5) and disconnect the harness assemblies from electronic control module (8).

5. Remove bolts (4), electronic control module (8), and ground strap (6).

6. Remove isolation mounts (7) from electronic control module (8).

Installation Procedure

1. Install electronic control module (8) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Tighten allen head screws (5) to a torque of 6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in).
