Certain remanufactured rocker arms are shipped with larger diameter adjusting screws and lock nuts. Increased torque is required on the larger diameter lock nuts to maintain preload in the adjusting screw.
Note: Depending on core return part numbers, not all rocker arms for an affected Reman part number are built with the larger diameter adjusting screw.
The torque specifications for the original adjusting screws and lock nuts are listed in Table 1.
