Pressure Sensor (DPF) - Remove and Install

Usage:

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect harness assemblies (3).

  2. Remove tube assembly (1) and tube assembly (4).

  3. Remove pressure sensor assembly (2).

  4. Remove bracket (6). Remove catalytic converter pressure sensor (5) and the O-ring seals.

  5. Remove pressure sensor (DPF) (10) and the O-ring seals.

  6. Remove adapters (8) and the O-ring seals.

  7. Remove manifold (9) from plate (7).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install pressure sensor assembly (2) in the reverse order of removal.

      Note: Do not pre-tighten the sensor using the plastic portion of the sensor. Pre-tighten the sensor using the metal hex portion of the sensor. Damage can occur to the sensor if pre-tightened using the plastic portion of the sensor.

    1. Tighten pressure sensor (DPF) (10) to a torque of 10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in).
