Inlet Air Temperature Sensor - Remove and Install

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Disconnect harness assembly (1) from inlet air temperature sensor (2).
- Remove inlet air temperature sensor (2).
- Remove O-ring seal from inlet air temperature sensor (2) and discard.

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install inlet air temperature sensor (2) in the reverse order of removal.
- Lubricate a new O-ring seal with clean engine oil. Install the new O-ring seal onto inlet air temperature sensor (2).
- Tighten the inlet air temperature sensor (2) to a torque of
24 ± 3 N·m (212 ± 27 lb in)
