Payload Calibration Introduction

Your Cat^® Dealer will calibrate your Cat Production Measurement application.

Calibration provides necessary information for the application. Calibration allows this application to determine the weight of the material that is lifted by the wheel loader. During calibration, the application measures the following:

• Lift cylinder pressure

• Lift position

• Linkage speed

• Tilt position

• Hydraulic oil temperature

Calibration Tools

There are two tools that can be used to perform a calibration:

• The display

• Cat^® Electronic Technician (Cat ET)

• Simple Calibration Update

• System Calibration (Calibration Using Display Module and Calibration Using Electronic Service Tool)
