Improper Installation of the 274-6717 Crankcase Pressure Sensor on 3500 Commercial Engines{1408, 1439, 1916}

Problem
Several 274-6717 Crankcase Pressure Sensors have been oriented incorrectly on the assembly line. This incorrect orientation can cause residual oil accumulation in the sensor and intermittent crankcase pressure faults.
Solution
If intermittent crankcase pressure faults are being experienced, reorient the pressure sensor to a near vertical position. Refer to Illustrations 1 and 2 for the examples of the incorrect and correct orientation.
