Caterpillar Products:
  • All
  • Due to a bit integer restriction in the cellular firmware for tracking Service Meter Hours, cellular devices are unable to track Service Meter Hours once the hours reach 65,535 hours in VisionLinkTM.

The correct number of service hours is necessary for the maintenance, warranty, and SIMS records for all Caterpillar machines.

Offset the hours in the service meter to a smaller number. Accurately note the offset since the PL421 is unable to track Service Meter Hours once the machine reaches 65,535 hours in VisionLink. Add the offset to the hours displayed in VisionLink to capture the true service meter hours.
