Loss of Daily Reports May Be an Indicator of End of Life for the Product Link® ECM on PL321SR and PL321VSR Systems {7606}

Machines using PL321SR and PL321VSR Systems may report utilization data intermittently or stop reporting utilization data altogether as any of the following Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) approach device end-of-life.
- 239-9954 Electronic Control Module
- 285-1133 Electronic Control Module
- 285-1142 Electronic Control Module
- 327-6002 Electronic Control Module
At device end of life, the internal battery in the Product Link ECM does not supply sufficient voltage to sustain the stored reporting time when the machine master disconnect removes power to the machine and Product Link system.
If utilization data is being reported intermittently in VisionLink, submit a support case. Product Support personnel will determine whether the device has reached end of product life and recommendations for further actions.
