A New Alternator and Alternator Bracket Have Been Introduced on Certain C4.4 and C6.6 Engines {1405, 1425}
- Generator Set:
- C6.6 (S/N: SDA1-UP; N6D1-UP; MRW1-UP)
- Industrial Engine:
- C4.4 (S/N: 4441-UP)
- C6.6 (S/N: 6661-UP)
Description of Change: A new alternator has been introduced. When the engine is equipped with a heavy-duty alternator bracket and an automatic belt tensioner, a new bracket is required in order to fit the new alternator.
Adaptable To: A new bracket is required in the following circumstances:
- When replacing any of the following old alternator part numbers with any of the new alternator part numbers
- Only when the engine is equipped with one of the old bracket part numbers
