Start By:
- Remove the piston pump (Hydraulic Fan).
- Remove bolts (1), compensator valve (2), gasket (3), and the O-ring seals.

Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.
Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
- Remove bolts (7) and port block (8) from pump housing (6).

Illustration 7 g03440161 - Remove rotating group (15) from pump housing (6). Carefully retain rotating assembly (15) in housing (6). Turn the rotating assembly upside-down. Slowly lift housing (6) off rotating group (15).

Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to compress spring (21) until the retaining ring (20) can be removed from barrel (18). Slowly release the pressure on the suitable press because of the spring pressure. Remove barrel (18) from the press. Remove spring (21), retaining disc (22), and pressure pins (23).

Illustration 14 g03440381 Note: The rod is engaged in the socket by the edges of the socket. Extreme care must be used to disengage the rod from the socket. Remove the actuator rod out of the smooth shaped socket.
- Angle the swashplate (26) so rod (27) extends out of the bore. Remove rod (27) from the socket in swashplate (26).

- Remove screws (29) and bearings (30).
