V zájmu zajištění maximálního výkonu motoru zkontrolujte řemen (1), zda není opotřebovaný nebo popraskaný. Je-li řemen opotřebovaný nebo poškozený, vyměňte jej.
- Zkontrolujte, zda na řemenu nejsou praskliny, trhliny, zatvrdlá lesklá vrstva, mazací tuk, posunutí kordu a známky znečištění provozní kapalinou.
Řemen je nutné vyměnit, pokud se vyskytnou následující stavy.
- Řemen má prasklý více než jeden drát kordu.
- Více než jedna sekce řemene je posunuta v jednou drátu kordu v maximální délce
50.8 mm (2 inch) .
Postup výměny řemene viz příručka Demontáž a montáž, "Alternator Belt - Remove and Install". Je-li to nutné, vyměňte napínač řemene. Správný postup viz příručka Demontáž a montáž, "Alternator Belt - Remove and Install".
