Installing the Harness on the ARC Machines
- Attach bracket (9) to the plate on the lift arm. Secure using two bolts (11). Tighten to a torque of

Start from the rear of the machine feeding the 344-6145 Receptacle As in first. Feed harness (7) through the arm until the 344-6145 Receptacle As reaches bracket (9).

(A) Provided receptacle cover. - Insert the receptacle into bracket (9), secure using nut (4) and washer (10). Install provided cover (A) on to the receptacle.

Connecting the Harness
- Locate the RL-C19 connector inside the left rear tower. Remove the cap seal from the RL-C19 connector and discard the cap seal.

(C) RL-C19 Connector - Connect the TC-1 Connector (B) on harness (7) to the RL-C19 Connector (C). Refer to Table 3 for correct connector configuration.

(15)8T-4133 Nut - Secure the ground terminal to the ground stud located in the left rear tower. Use washer (13) or (14) and nut (15) to secure the ground terminal. Tighten the nut to a torque of
30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft) .
Securing the Harness on ARC Machine
- Use one strap (5) to secure harness (7), to the weld link on the bottom of the left lift arm.

(D) Auxiliary Hose - Use three straps (5) and secure the harness to auxiliary hose (D).

Note: Ensure that there is sufficient slack to allow for free movement at the pivot point.
Note: Store all excess harness length in the arm. Coil and secure the harness with a strap.

Securing the Harness on Extended Arm Machine
- Using one strap (1), secure the Harness to the weld link on the Lift Arm.
- Using one strap (5), secure the harness to the tube at the bottom of the lift arm.

Installing the Work Tool Rocker Switch
- Release the tabs on the switch cover on the left-hand console. Remove the switch cover.
- Remove the plug from the switch cover from the position shown in Illustration 13.
- Install switch (6) into the opening in the switch cover. Press switch in until all tabs are fully engaged.
- Inside the console, locate the LC-8 connector on the 378-1026 Panel Harness As and connect the connector to the switch installed in Step 3. Refer to Table 4 to confirm the correct connector configuration.
- Reinstall the switch cover onto the left-hand console.

Installing the Relays
- Locate the fuse panel in the rear of the cab at the right-hand side.

Removing the Current Left Hand Joystick
Note: Retain hardware for reuse in the installation of the new joystick controller.
- Remove the two screws from the outside Console Cover.

Note: Do Not use any type of prying tools to remove the covers as tools may damage the covers.

Installing the New
- Connect the joystick 12-pin connector to the CH-C4 connector on the seat desk harness. Connect the joystick 6-pin connector to the CH-C5 connector of the seat deck harness. Refer to Table 5 and 6 to confirm the correct connector configuration.
- Secure the connectors by using two straps (12).
- Secure joystick (8) to the armrest using four bolts (2). Tighten the bolts to a torque of
6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in) - Return boot to original position.
- Reinstall covers onto the left armrest.
