New Product Link software for PL300 is now available for all Cat^® Products. The new software is available for PL321 systems with the 285-1133 Electronic Control Module (PL300). The new software contains improvements and enhancements that are listed below:

• PL300 software now supports transmission of payload and cycle counts for machine/engine ECMs supporting and providing the data.

• PL300 software improves the PL321 fuel reporting in VisionLink during machine non-working hours by no longer reporting previous work day data on current day's reports.

If needed, adjust the internal Product Link clock to agree with Service Meter Hours (SMH) of the machine as indicated on the hour meter after flashing the new software.

Note: To obtain the full benefits of the improvements and enhancements, both the radio and the gateway software must be flashed. The latest software for the PL121 radio can be found in SIS Web. This radio firmware is updated using Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET) Subsystem Module Programming.

Note: Prior to service trip, launch SIS Web and ensure that the new flash file part number is the latest flash file part number. A newer flash file part number may be available.

Note: Before using Communications Adapter 3 (CA3), make sure that the PC drivers and CA3 firmware have been updated. CA3 news, drivers, and firmware are available at "https://dealer.cat.com".

Note: The new software is flashed onto the Module using "WinFlash". Always use the latest version of Cat ET for the optimal machine software support.
