Ripper Control Valve - Disassemble

Usage:

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the ripper control valve.


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

    Note: Mark the orientation of adapter assemblies (1) for assembly purposes.

  1. Remove adapter assembly (1). Remove O-ring seals (2). Repeat this step for the remaining adapter assembly.

  2. Remove nut (3), washer (4), and coil assembly (5).

  3. Remove cartridge assembly (6). Remove O-ring seals (7) from cartridge assembly (6).

  4. Remove plug (8). Remove O-ring seal (9) from plug (8).

  5. Remove housing assembly (10). Remove O-ring seals (11) and O-ring seal (12).

  6. Remove retainer (13), spring (14), and retainer (15).

  7. Repeat Steps 2 through 6 for the other side of the valve.

  8. Remove lift stem (16).

  9. Remove plug (18) from lift stem (16). Remove O-ring seal (17) from plug (18).

  10. Remove relief valve (19).

  11. Remove O-ring seals (20) from relief valve (19).

  12. Remove nut (28), washer (27), retainer (26), O-ring seal (25), hard washer (24), spring (23), plate (22), and valve (21) from relief valve (19).

  13. Remove check valve (29).

  14. Remove O-ring seal (32), backup ring (31), and O-ring seal (30) from check valve (29).

  15. Remove nut (33), washer (34), retainer (35), washer (36), washer (37), O-ring seal (38), spring (39), and valve (40) from check valve (29).

  16. Remove valve (44) from body assembly (41). Remove stem (43) and spring (42).

  17. Remove retaining ring (45) from valve (44). Remove plug (47). Remove O-ring seal (46) from plug (47).

  18. Remove sleeve bearing (50), O-ring seal (49), and seat (48) from body assembly (41).

  19. Repeat Steps 13 through 18 for the remaining check valve.

  20. Remove plug (54). Remove O-ring seal (53) from plug (54). Remove spring (52) and valve (51).

  21. Remove bolts (55), relief valve (56), O-ring seal (57), and shims (58).

  22. Remove O-ring seal (60) and backup ring (59) from relief valve (56).

  23. Remove seat (62) from relief valve (56). Remove O-ring seal (61) from seat (62).

  24. Remove nut (63), washer (64), O-ring seal (65), retainer (66), hard washer (67), spring (68), and valve (69) from relief valve (56).

  26. Remove plug (72). Remove O-ring seal (73) from plug (72).

  27. Remove plug (74). Remove O-ring seal (75) from plug (74).

  28. Remove plug (76). Remove O-ring seal (77) from plug (76).

  29. Remove plug (78). Remove O-ring seal (79) from plug (78).

  30. Remove plug (80). Remove O-ring seal (81) from plug (80).

  31. Remove plug (83). Remove O-ring seal (84) from plug (83).

  32. Remove orifice plug (82).

  33. Remove plug (85). Remove O-ring seal (86) from plug (85).

  34. Remove plug (87). Remove O-ring seal (88) from plug (87).

  35. Remove bolts (89), the washers, and the nuts. Remove cover (92). Separate control valve (91) from manifold (90).
