New Product Link software for PL121 and PL300 is now available for all Cat® Products. The new software is available for PL321 system (285-1133 Electronic Control Module (PL300), and 336-3545 Communication Radio Gp (PL121)) only and not for 285-1142 Electronic Control Module (VIMS).The new software contains improvements that are listed below:
- The new PL300 software increases PL321 radio message queue for Start/Stop information, so that the machines in an area with poor satellite coverage will be able to store more stop/start data until satellite coverage returns.
- The new PL121 software improves the PL321 fuel reporting in VisionLink during the machine working hours.
Note: To obtain all benefits of these improvements and enhancements, both the radio and the gateway software must be flashed.
If needed, adjust the internal Product Link clock to agree with Service Meter Hours (SMH) of the machine as indicated on the hour meter after flashing the new software.

Note: Prior to service trip, launch SIS Web and ensure that the new flash file part number is the latest flash file part number. A newer flash file part number may be available.
