  • After filling the engine cooling system, remove the filler cap and run the engine a minimum of 5 minutes after the thermostats have opened.

    Running the engine will allow trapped air to be sufficiently purged from the cooling system and allow the cooling system level to stabilize.

    Check the coolant level and add coolant if necessary.
