  1. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (2). Remove the washer. Pull the lower half of bucket positioner (1) from the bucket linkage.

  2. Remove clip (3) and pin (4). Remove bucket positioner (1).

  3. Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt cylinder (5). The bucket linkage will be removed with tilt cylinder (5) as a unit. The weight of tilt cylinder (5) and the bucket linkage is approximately 60 kg (132 lb).

  4. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining rings (6) and (8). Remove pin assemblies (7) and (9). Remove any shims that may be present.

  5. Use Tooling (B) and Tooling (C) in order to secure tilt cylinder (5) to the cab.

  6. Attach Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device to bucket (10). The weight of bucket (10) is approximately 1134 kg (2500 lb).

  7. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining rings (11). Remove pin assembly (12). Record the position of any shims that may be present. Repeat for the other side.

  8. Remove bucket (10).

  9. Disconnect hose assemblies (16), (17), (18), and (19). Remove clamps (13), (14), and (15). Remove hose assemblies (16), (17), (18), and (19).

  10. Use Tooling (E) in order to remove bearings (20) and (21).

  1. Connect hose assemblies (16), (17), (18), and (19). Install hose assemblies (16), (17), (18), and (19). Install clamps (13), (14), and (15).

  2. Lower the temperature of bearings (20) and (21). Use Tooling (F) in order to install bearings (20) and (21).

  3. Attach Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device to bucket (10). The weight of bucket (10) is approximately 1134 kg (2500 lb). Install bucket (10).

  4. Install pin assembly (12). Install any shims that were removed in the removal procedure. Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (11). Repeat for the other side.

  6. Remove Tooling (B) and Tooling (C) from tilt cylinder (5).

  7. Install pin assemblies (7) and (9). Install any shims that were present during the removal procedure. Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining rings (6) and (8).

  8. Install bucket positioner (1). Install pin (4). Install clip (3).

  9. Install the lower half of bucket positioner (1) onto the bucket linkage. Install the washer. Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (2).
