Refer to Special Publication, PELJ1301, "EPA REGULATIONS FOR THE SALE OF NEW REPLACEMENT ENGINES IN ON-HIGHWAY VEHICLES, NONROAD MOBILE EQUIPMENT, MARINE APPLICATIONS, AND COMPRESSION-IGNITION STATIONARY ENGINES" This information is used for emissions compliance, when replacing engines with a more recent emission certification. In addition, there are new requirements for core processing by all dealers.
