Bearing (3.5 EVD or Greater) - Replace
The bearings should be replaced periodically. The recommended interval for 3.5 EVD bearings is 4 years. The bearings are contained in removable cartridges. The cartridges are replaced at the same time as the bearings. The cartridges must be positioned accurately for proper operation. Only trained personnel may perform the replacement.
