An improved 341-2377 Control Module Gp has been released. The module provides the user with the ability to view and log the position of the 3-way valve in the electronic thermostat. The feature eliminates the need to remove the thermostat motor cover to determine the valve position.
The Temperature Control Module (TCM) parameters are now viewable in Cat ET which, includes "Desired Engine Coolant Thermostat Opening" and "Engine Coolant Thermostat Opening". The parameters can be found within the "Electronic Fluid Temperature Control " group. Refer to Illustration 1
