Introduction
The problem that is identified in the technical information bulletin that follows does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
The 303-4429 Bracket As is cracking on the machines that are listed above. The bracket design is not adequate for the vibration loads applied during operation.
Solution
The 303-4429 Bracket As should be replaced with like parts. Do not provide additional stiffeners or fabricate plates from thicker material. Additional stiffeners or fabricated plates can result in cracks in the autolube tank or drawbar.
